During February, your heart turns
toward expressions of love for those
closest to you. A dozen roses or a
box of chocolates. That’s enough,
right? You might not think you have
any more to give. But people you
don’t even know, thousands of miles
away, are pleading for your love,
too. From across the miles, you can
pour your love over the Russian
people. You can give them the
Bible—easily, and meaningfully.
God’s eternal Word of
Truth, the Bible, can meet the
deepest needs of people in a
love-starved land. A land
with one of the highest suicide
rates in the world. . . . A land
where too many people drown their
sorrows with a bottle. . . . A land
where hundreds of thousands are
trying their hardest to make a
better way for their families, and
few are succeeding.
Christians trained by the Bible
League are following their hearts to
reach lost people—right now—in some
of the most adverse conditions. From
Russia’s populous cities to the
remotest Siberian villages,
committed Christians have embraced
the love of God in Christ, and they
don’t want to keep it to themselves.
They go into the drab gray
high-rises and across the barren
frozen tundra. And they’ll go
farther. But they need the Bible.
They know the power of God’s
Word can break through the hardest
of hearts, so they don’t
want to go empty-handed. You can
help them make a lasting impact.
This Valentine’s Day, let
your love for Jesus Christ overflow
from your heart to touch the hearts
of the Russian people.
Please, give Bibles today. Every
$4 you give places a Bible
in the hands of people who yearn to
feel the warmth of God’s love enfold
them. |
